Pediatric Dentist
Dr. John Patangan is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. Next, the aspiring dentist attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. From there, he graduated in 1999 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Patangan received his commission in the US Navy Dental Corps, where he served in numerous duty stations from Rota, Spain, to Portsmouth, Virginia. Due to his stellar service record and abilities, he was picked to further his studies with specialized schooling in pediatric dentistry at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. In fact, Dr. Patangan ultimately received a certificate in the specialization of Pediatric Dentistry and a Master’s Degree in Dentistry from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2008. He continues to serve his country in the US Navy Dental Corps as a reservist. Even more, he is also a member in good standing and board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Patangan is currently married with three children: a daughter and twin boys. In addition to spending quality time with his family, he is an avid golfer, biker, and sailor.
